  'NPC' characters that are occasionally present in roleplay with this character. Their presence has minimal upset in the fictitious realm surrounding the character, and are mentioned here and there within the roleplay. These NPCs are acknowledged by surrounding characters, as their existence is every bit as real as the played characters themselves. Please feel free to utilize these characters where appropriate and realistic in the roleplay.

  Prithee (Exclusively acknowledged and witnessed by Welles.)
  
  

  Who-- or more accurately what-- is believed to be the ghost of Jules de Welles' late wife, and mother to his living heir, and his deceased daughter. While her physical appearance is never mentioned nor spoken of, Welles has remarked on many occasions (through personal reflection in his personal journals) of the peculiar 'change' in her image. She is described as hostile, animalistic, and antagonistic; known to hold a great degree of control over him. Of note is the bruising circling her neck that he describes in his logs.
  
  While very real to Jules, Prithee is nothing more than a creation of his own mind. She is both his hallucination and a literary representation of his dwindling sanity. Her alignment is in favour of the carnal aspect of him, and she will do everything in her power to ensure that he give into his sadistic, occasionally murderous desires. As Welles states, "[Prithee] is a monstrosity that I hate, though I yearn for her while she is gone. She damns me, and completes me, and I am not sure I would have it any other way."

  Previously employed by the Baron Welles and his late wife as governess to his household at their manor in England, the middle-aged swine is now charged with the care of his estate, as head of his serving staff and overseer of domestic finances. The woman is wise, if not a little too old-fashioned for her own good, likely many years older than the Baron himself. There are few things she is not privy to, and does not speak against the Baron in any way. Welles himself does seem fond of the woman, despite what he might say against her, and enjoys her company in small doses.
